This 1000 foot red 18/2 shielded fire alarm / security cable comes in an easy to use pull box. The cable is composed of 2 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge) wires shielded with an aluminum mylar layer inside of a FPLR rated outer jacket. The primary use of this cable is for power limited fire circuits, but it also finds use in the wiring of security systems.
